Westminster police have released photographs of a suspected peeping Tom after he slipped a phone under a changing room door apparently to photograph a woman while she was dressing.

“We know these are not the best pictures, but this guy needs to be caught!” the police department said in a tweet released Wednesday.

The photographs of the suspect were taken Nov. 26 at the JCPenney store at the Orchard Town Center shortly after the incident in a sitting room, said Cheri Spottke, Westminster police spokeswoman. She said the suspect looks  young.

The female customer was trying on clothes when she noticed a camera stuck under the dressing room door, Spottke said.

“You have an expectation when you are in a sitting room of privacy,” she said.

There’s also concern that such a picture could be shared on social media, Spottkesaid.

“It has far-reaching ramifications. It’s an invasion of privacy,” she said.

No similar incidents have been reported, Spottki said.
