The Weld County Coroner’s office has identified the man who died Tuesday while cleaning a train car in Evans.

Jose Miguel Cisneros, 35, of Greeley, and a coworker were found unconscious about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in a maintenance rail yard in the 6000 block of 47th Avenue in Evans. They were rushed to North Colorado Medical Center, where Cisneros later died, according to a news release from Weld County Coroner Carl Blesch.

Authorities believe Cisneros, who was an employee of EnviroTech in Greeley, were cleaning a rail car when they inhaled fumes from a hazardous material the car had been carrying.
