We lost some good local restaurants this month: Brik on York and DJ’s Café have closed.
Brik on York, the wood-fired pizza restaurant, wine bar and live music venue that popped up on Colfax Ave. in 2015, posted on Facebook Sunday morning:
Brik is officially closed for business my friends. It was a short and beautiful dream, but unfortunately we could not get on top of all the financial constraints that would otherwise allow us to succeed.
have also shuttered. A sign on the window of the breakfast and lunch spot on Lincoln St. announced the closure and thanked customers for their support over the past 12 years.
