I sincerely hope there is a worthy opponent to Denver Mayor Michael Hancock in 2019. We are faced with seemingly uncontrolled growth, old houses and buildings being knocked down and replaced with more cookie-cutter apartment buildings, longtime residents being squeezed out of being able to do the things we used to enjoy, a terrible rising cost of living, and a traffic policy that seems to consist of making the roads as inconvenient as possible so that we’ll all ride our bikes everywhere. Yes, we definitely need someone with better ideas in 2019 for mayor and City Council.
