Re: “,” Dec. 5 news story.

I want to thank Congressman Mike Coffman and the other House Republicans for doing whatap right and pushing leadership in Congress to find a legislative solution for Dreamers. I also want to commend The Denver Post for continuing to cover this urgent issue.

This is a no-brainer, a rare bipartisan concern in the current political climate. And, itap not just a critical issue for Dreamers and their families — business leaders have repeatedly called for a solution to protect Dreamers because it makes sense for Colorado’s economy and businesses.

Now, with talk of the issue being tied to the spending bill, Dreamers’ futures are trapped in limbo in a game of politics. It is not good for Colorado or our country to risk deporting hardworking young adults who contribute in so many ways to our communities and economy.

Congress must pass a solution like the Dream Act before the holidays.
