Brock-solid win. The front page of the Denver Post Sports section on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017.

When came off the bench to lead the on Thursday Night Football, my first thought was, “I wonder which Brock pun we’ll use on the front page of the Sports section on Friday…”

And the Broncos stuck to the game plan they had preached during the short week, . The . “I never thought I’d see Brock Osweiler do a Mile High salute. What a time to be alive,” wrote one Twitter user.

But not everyone was being spoon-fed the Brocky Road ice cream (see what I did there?). Columnist Mark Kiszla did not even mention Osweiler’s name in his post-game column in which next season.
