As of the new year, you’ll no longer be able to dine in a century-old bank vault. The Broker, one of Denver’s most iconic steakhouses, is closing, as first reported by the .

A manager at The Broker confirmed that the 45-year-old restaurant will close following New Year’s Eve service.

The Broker opened inside the Denver National Bank building in 1972, and it’s been serving its classic surf and turf-filled menu ever since. Where else can you eat Southwest Wellington and crab cakes inside a bank vault? Probably not at Chase or Wells Fargo, that’s for sure.

The owner could not immediately be reached for comment.

The Broker: 821 17th St., Denver, 303-292-5065; ; closing Dec. 31
