The Rockies have made a few splashes so far this offseason after dropping $106 million on their bullpen last month.

Now they’re on the radar of rapper — and his 1.5 million Twitter followers.

For those who are unfamiliar with the rapper, Lil B famously saying he’d never win an NBA title. Durant didn’t win an NBA title until , and some gave for Durant winning with the Warriors.

So it is notable that Lil B this week tweeted (in all caps), “RESPECT TO THE COLORADO ROCKIES LETS PLAY FAIR CLEAN BALL! I WANT TO COME BY THE FACILITY TO MAKE SURE THE STAFF AND TEAM ARE ALL HAPPY AND POSITIVE!!!! NOW THATS CLEAN BALL! LETS GO! MLB – Lil B”

The Rockies were quick to respond and happy to oblige Lil B’s request.

“Let’s make it happen!” the Rockies replied on Twitter. “Let us know when you want to come by and we’ll take you around the park. You’d look good in purple. DMs are open.”

Lil B responded with “Great thank you – Lil B”

Looks as though the 2018 season could end up being #blessed.
