A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Aurora Friday night while trying to cross East Arapahoe Road near Colorado Highway 83.
The pedestrian, who has not been publically identified yet, was hit just before 8:50 p.m. and declared dead at the scene, according to the Aurora Police Department.
The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
