The Summit County hamlet is home to three of U.S. Snowboarding’s four slopestyle and big air Olympians, with 20-year-old Kyle Mack, a Silverthorne resident from Michigan, pushing hard in final qualifying contests to join Red Gerard, Chris Corning and Alaskan veteran Ryan Stassel.
