Megan Schrader vilifies Donald Trump for his position on DACA and immigration. What she and most on the left fail to realize is that most issues are not about Trump but about the Constitution, and she puts expediency and laziness ahead of the presidentap responsibility to uphold the Constitution. Barack Obama was lazy when, by executive order, he created the temporary DACA situation and thus avoided Congress. And though you may not like President Trump, he is actually working to make DACA permanent. This continued pattern by the “lazy left” is also seen in the Second Amendment; if you want to change the gun situation, amend the Constitution. It is that simple; quit looking for shortcuts. How often will this repeat itself?
