Cross commits to UNC
Rampart standout Keion Cross verbally committed to play football at Northern Colorado on Tuesday morning.
The senior was one player at the center of the revival of the Class 4A Rams, who made a quarterfinal appearance this past fall and rattled off back-to-back Pikes Peak League championships.
A running back, quarterback and cornerback, Cross wore all sorts of hats for Rampart while racking up 2,353 total offensive yards and 26 touchdowns in three varsity seasons in Colorado Springs.

Over the weekend, Green Mountain football coach Matt Pees accepted a job with the Tennessee Titans to be a defensive coach.
Pees is the son of former Ravens defensive coordinator Dean Pees, who is also joining the Titans in that same position.
The school announced the move on Monday, noting they hope to have a new coach in place by the end of February. The 3A Rams were a combined 9-11 in two seasons under Pees.
Once a Ram, Always a Ram: would like to wish Coach Matt Pees the best as he takes a job as a defensive coach with the Tennessee Titans! Please see the following letter from AD Autumn Sereno regarding the hiring process for a new Football Coach.
