Yes, Black Sabbath called it quits back in 2016. But frontman Ozzy Osbourne hadn’t yet called curtains on his solo career.
That, too, is now coming to an end. In 2018, Osbourne will make his final lap around the world, a circuit he’s calling No More Tours 2 (the first No More Tours tour came in 1992, and was also supposed to be his last).
Osbourne’s last Denver show will come on Oct. 2, just five shows before he wraps his touring career up with his ultimate gig in Las Vegas on Oct. 13.
Osbourne will play the Pepsi Center. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. MT on Feb. 17 via . Ticket pricing was not available at press time; we’ll update this article with that info when it is released.
From our review of Black Sabbath’s two years ago:
, one of the most original, influential and sonically iconic rock acts of the 70s, put on as perfect of a farewell show at the Pepsi Center as you could have hoped for. They played, sounded and yes, sung as well as they did in their prime.
Everybody loves Ozzy, and his voice was still all there. That’s not a given for someone who’s been at it for almost 50 years.
