a tailgate challenge at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver contestant Carrie Baird (Bar Dough) and Chris Scott (Butterfunk Kitchen in Brooklyn, N.Y.) were paired up and won tickets to the Super Bowl with their green chile poutine.

So did they actually go to Minneapolis for the big game?

Heck, yes, and the prize was extra-special for Scott.

On the episode — which was filmed way back in June before football season even started — Scott mentioned that he was a Philadelphia Eagles fan while riding in the car with Baird. She turned to him and said, “Maybe it’s their year.”

That’s some foreshadowing, huh?

Judging by both chefs’ Eagles-filled Instagram accounts, they had a great time cheering Philadelphia on to victory in Minneapolis on Feb. 4.

After the win, Scott was over the moon, and in an Instagram post, thanked Bravo and “Top Chef” for the opportunity to attend the game with his wife.

Baird got on the Eagles bandwagon, too, and brought along fellow Bar Dough chef Blake Edmunds.

“It was so fun!” she said. “I got to take Blake, and we got to spend the weekend with Chris Scott and his awesome wife, Eugenie. And to top it all off, the Eagles won!”

Will Baird or Scott take home the metaphorical trophy on “Top Chef,” the Super Bowl of cooking competitions? We’ll have to keep watching … .
