DIA advises passengers to check flight status for potential weather delays Saturday

Off and on snow could cause low visibility or shifting winds at the airport

The Denver International Airport said snow teams were ready for Saturday’s light snowfall but still advised passengers to check their flight status.

The airport starting seeing trace amounts of snow around midnight, according to the National Weather Service. No significant flight impacts were expected but there is a possibility for low visibility and shifting winds.

The said the airport was seeing arrival and departure delays of about 15 minutes or less in the morning.
