Ty Evans seemed to be all set. After leading Palmer Ridge to the Class 3A state title in the fall, the junior verbally committed to Colorado in January.

But the gravy keeps coming for one of the most coveted quarterback recruits that the state has ever seen. Evans announced Tuesday morning via Twitter that he’s received an offer from Alabama.

The opportunity with the Crimson Tide is the latest in a flurry of increased interest in the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder, as Evans also picked up additional offers from Michigan and Ole Miss since he committed to the Buffs.

Where all that interest leaves the Buffs remains to be seen — after all, an extended hand from Nick Saban and the defending national champions can make any recruit think twice.
