The Monkees’ Michael Nesmith and Micky Dolenz are busting out on the road for the first time as a duo, with a show in Denver in the books for the spring.

The band will play the Paramount Theatre on June 12. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 23 via .

The 1960s band often though of as America’s answer to The Beatles haven’t enjoyed the name recognition or longevity of John, Paul, George and Ringo, but a couple of their songs like “I’m a Believer” and “(I’m Not Your) Steppin’ Stone” have withstood the test of time. The band plans to play songs that span its 50-year career, including numbers from its 2016 effort, “Good Times.”

Original Monkee Peter Tork will not be joining the band on its latest tour.

“I have in general made no secret of the fact that all these recent years of Monkees-related projects, as fun as they’ve been, have taken up a lot of my time and energy,” Tork said in a release. “I’m shifting gears for now, but I wish the boys well, and I’ve learned to never say never on things further down the line.”
