Why not try all three?

Tacos, Tequila, Whiskey is either a vicious cycle or a delicious restaurant, depending on your POV. The Governor’s Park outpost of TTW opens March 2, with all the tacolicious fanfare you’d expect, which is to say none, because why would tacos, tequila and whiskey need any further fanfare? 215 East 7th Ave., Denver;

It’s baaack…

Last summer, The Way Back traded in its 38th Ave. location for a bigger (and more visible) spot on Tennyson Street. After re-vamping the space and snagging a new chef — Danny Meyer’s Maialino alum Jon Lavelle — The Way Back is back. The menu will feature the same fresh, local slant, while incorporating more pasta. Because every menu could always use more pasta. 3963 Tennyson St., Denver, 720-728-8156;

It’s from Texas

Sometimes, you can judge a book by its cover. For example, I’ll give you three guesses as to what’s on the menu at the new Bubba’s 33. If any of your guesses come even remotely close to resembling French words, then alas, you are incorrect. It’s all about the pizza, burgers and beer at this popular Texas-based chain. 2270 S. Parker Rd., Aurora, 303-360-9933;

For when you want brunch before your sub

What’s noteworthy about the new Smiling Moose at University and Evans? Well, it’s the group’s largest sandwich shop yet, and this Moose includes table service, a full bar and a weekend brunch menu. Pair your funnel cake French toast with bourbon milk punch, then grab a Pesto Peak Italiano for the road. 2110 S. University Blvd., Denver, 720-535-7777;

There’s a drink called the Bananas Froster

If you judge a restaurant based on the number of boozy milkshakes on its menu, then UNION Bar & Soda Fountain is gonna be a good one. The Fort Collins restaurant, which opens Feb. 28, serves comfort food classics like fried chicken and biscuits & gravy, but the real head-turner is the section of the menu devoted to spirited floats and shakes.  250 Jefferson St., Fort Collins, 970-825-5558;
