Cyclist dies following crash with vehicle northeast of Boulder

The cyclist was transported to Boulder Community Health’s Foothills Hospital, where he died

A 35-year-old cyclist was killed after he was involved in a crash with a Subaru near the intersection of 63rd Street and Jay Road northeast of Boulder Monday morning.

Colorado State Patrol Trooper Josh Lewis said that the crash was reported at 9:02 a.m.

The cyclist was transported to Boulder Community Health’s Foothills Hospital, but died at the hospital.

The man’s identity has not yet been released.

The driver of the car, a 61-year-old woman, remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
