A person was shot in Commerce City on Wednesday night, police said.
Officers were called at about 9:05 p.m. to the 7000 block of Poplar Street on a report of shooting, according to a news release. Officer found a man who was bleeding and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital. Further details on his injuries, or the shooting, were not released.
An investigation is ongoing.
