Man robs Northglenn bank, flees on bicycle, switches to pickup truck

A man who robbed a bank Friday morning in Northglenn fled on a bicycle before switching to a pickup truck, according to investigators.

The suspected robber was identified Monday in a news release from the FBI as 45-year-old Daniel David Courson.

He is accused of demanding money from a teller at Bank of the West at 10393 Huron St. around 9:45 a.m. Friday, was robbed, the release said.

The FBI describes Courson as a white man, 6’1″ tall and 185 pounds with blue eyes and brown and graying hair. Courson is known to use disguises to change his appearance. He also uses a variety of aliases including: Adam Scott Hopkins, Max Taylor, Scott E. Taylor, Max Robert Taylor, Mark Pavlik, and Jeremy Penrod. Courson is wanted in California for burglary and a parole violation.

Monday’s news release included photos of Courson and the pickup truck he allegedly used in the getaway. The truck had Utah license plates at the time.
