A suspect in a fatal shooting in Aurora has been identified, and police seek the public’s help in the finding him.

Joseph Goudy Lugo, 39, is wanted for first-degree murder in the shooting death Tuesday of 21-year-old Potros Mabany, according to police.

Two victims, one survived, were shot about 8:15 a.m. outside an apartment building at 1097 S. Evanston Way, police said. The other man who was shot fled to a nearby 7-Eleven. He has been released from a hospital.

Police describe Lugo as 5-foot-9 and 245 pounds, with long, black hair, brown eyes, a tattoo of a name on the left front of his forehead and smaller tattoos, also names, on his left and right temples.

Anyone with information on the shootings, or on the whereabouts of Lugo, is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Anyone who sees the suspects is asked to call 911 immediately.
