A person was stabbed Wednesday in Northglenn, and a suspect was arrested without further incident.

Officers were called about 5:30 p.m. to a report of a person suffering from a stab wound at East 104th Avenue and Washington Street, according to police. The victim was taken to a hospital. Further details on injuries or the condition of the victim were not released.

Witnesses told police the stabbing happened in the area of East 118th Avenue and Sherman Street, according to a news release.

A suspect was located in the area and taken into custody, police said. A motive for the stabbing and the name of the suspect were not released.
