Rita Gutierrez-Garcia, 34, has not been seen since she went out with friends and family to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
Longmont Police Deputy Chief Jeff Satur declined to say what police were looking for at the network of ponds and walking paths that lie west of Hover Street near Third Avenue.
“We were looking for evidence,” he said. “That’s all I can say.” 
Satur added that police are still treating Gutierrez-Garcia’s case as a missing person/disappearance investigation and are “looking at all angles” and speaking with anyone who might have had contact with the missing woman.
“We will continue to work all leads and go from there,” Satur said. “We are going to continue working until we figure out what happened.”
