A unit at Longmont’s Cloverbasin Village Apartments has tested positive for methamphetamine contamination, and it’s not yet clear if the contamination spread to nearby units.

This contamination comes less than two years after nine units at Cloverbasin were condemned for meth contamination, which started in one unit and spread through a building, partially through the HVAC system.

On Tuesday, a consultant hired to test unit 204 in building 9 notified Boulder County Public Health that the HVAC unit tested positive for meth contamination, according to Chana Goussetis, communication manager at Public Health.
