doesn’t pretend to ignore the firestorm of NFL draft speculation that surrounds the — “I’m on Twitter and Instagram just like everybody else,” he said — plus the hoopla over the Broncos possibly selecting a quarterback with the team’s No. 5 overall pick.

But the Broncos ranked in the bottom-third of the league last season in sacks (33) and might have the opportunity to bolster their pass rush with an elite prospect such as North Carolina State defensive end Bradley Chubb.

Miller, the Broncos’ all-pro linebacker, spoke with reporters Tuesday afternoon at Dove Valley on the second day of the team’s offseason program, and when addressing Chubb — a 6-4, 269-pound force with 20 sacks and 24 tackles-for-loss over his last two college seasons — Miller described his talents in terms that would excite any Broncos fan.

“(Chubb) looks like and Von Miller put together,” Miller said. “He is a great player. I would love to have him on my team. You don’t come across guys like that often.”

Just last week, and said he has not visited the Broncos, but would love to play in Denver if it drafted him. “Von Miller is one of the guys I look up to, one of the guys I try to model my game after, so if I got a chance to actually play with him it’d be crazy,” Chubb said.

There is no guarantee Chubb will still be on the board when the Broncos are on the clock. Recent mock drafts from , , , and each have Chubb selected before the No. 5 pick. No matter what happens, Miller trusts the direction of franchise, though he lobbied for the team to sign free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins. who signed with Minnesota.

.“I’ve got all the faith in the guys that are running the organization whatever we do with (the No. 5 pick),” Miller said. “We’ve got a Hall of Fame quarterback () leading the organization. He’s going to make the best decision for our organization.”
