Janelle Monáe, whose new album “Dirty Computer” drops on Friday, April 27, will play Denver’s July 1 as part of the 27-city road trip to promote it.
Monáe, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, producer, actress (“Hidden Figures,” “Moonlight”) and activist, will give out digital copies of her third album with each ticket purchased for the tour.
Tickets for the show, which starts at 7:30 p.m., are on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2 via 303-893-8497 or . Tickets are $39.50-$70.
The tour, featuring opener St. Beauty, will build on the buzz Monae’s been getting for her typically futuristic, fashion-forward advance singles “Make Me Feel,” “Django Jane” and “PYNK.”
This week Monáe revealed the full tracklist for the album, which features guest appearances from Brian Wilson, Zoë Kravitz, Grimes and Pharrell Williams. Prince also reportedly worked with Monáe on the album before his death in 2016.
