Sixteen have been approved for 5-Star certifications that allow them to operate at increased capacities because they have been shown to implement COVID-19 protocols that are more stringent than what public health orders require.
These gyms are allowed to operate at Level Blue, which is 50% of their maximum capacity or up to 175 people.
This is a list of Denver gyms only. Other Front Range counties have their own 5-Star certification programs. , for example, has more than 50 on its gym and fitness list. and each have more than a dozen on their lists.
