No builder has had more success with the scenic surroundings of master-planned Solterra, in west Lakewood near Red Rocks Park, than Infinity Home Collection — showing cool, contemporary styling that reminds buyers of luxury row homes in Highland and LoHi.

Solterra broker specialist Ryan Penn says the market for luxury homes along the foothills came alive this spring, with a number of sales in the $1.2 million to $2 million range.

He has a four-bedroom/four-bath home to show you Sunday, May 27, priced below that range, one of the final homes Infinity built in Solterra, at $1.05 million.

“This is for somebody looking for an alternative to Highland,” says Penn about 15435 W. Asbury Ave. in Solterra, completed last year from Infinity’s contemporary Avanti collection. The owners brought in a decorator to work with Infinity’s team on the interior that features a “greige” palette with two-tone white kitchen cabinets, and picked a low-maintenance Xeriscape landscape outdoors, suited to two professionals.

Solterra, where Penn sees buyers arrive from trendy city areas, offers a 25-minute rush-hour commute from downtown and from LoDo’s dining scene, and has its own trails and amenities, plus 8-of-10-star Rooney Ranch Elementary — at prices, he adds, that look like bargains particularly to coastal buyers.

You’ll see one of Infinity’s cascading window walls that can be thrown open to a covered outdoor living area, and a terrific living arrangement for kids — one bedroom with an en-suite bath, the other two on a Jack-n-Jill, all opening into a kids living room for play or study.

With 3,438 square feet finished plus a full basement, the home shows a full hardwood floor package on the main level; built-in Thermador appliances including a six-burner gas range; large upstairs laundry; and a compartmented stop-n-drop area leading out to a three-car garage — two full-wide bays, plus a carriage bay with its own entrance.

Penn has the home open 3 to 6 p.m.

Take Alameda west to Indiana Street, head south to West Evans Avenue near the clubhouse, then west to South Moss and right, or call Ryan Penn at 360 Dwellings at 720-206-4268.
