The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an escaped inmate who was discovered missing early Tuesday at Fourmile Correctional Center.
Michael Onorato, 37, was working on an outside work crew at the dairy when he went missing, according to the Department of Corrections.
Prison officials immediately notified the DOC’s Inspector General’s Office and local law enforcement.
Onorato is considered dangerous, and the sheriff’s office asks residents to call 911 if they spot him. He is serving a three-year sentence for robbery out of Larimer County, a six-year sentence for motor vehicle theft out of Larimer County and a 20 month-sentence for drug abuse out of Denver County. His sentences are running concurrently.
