The westbound lanes of C-470 from聽Quebec Street to University Boulevard will be shut down overnight Friday as part of a construction project.

The closure, part of the $276 million C-470 Express Lanes project, will happen from 9:30 p.m. Friday until 7:30 a.m. Saturday, when lanes will reopen, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.聽The closure is part of a traffic lane switch onto permanent concrete pavement.

Detours will be posted, and drivers should go slow through cone zones.
