The Rockies bullpen got a much-needed boost ahead of Wednesday nightap game against the Giants, as Colorado reinstated veteran relievers Mike Dunn and from the disabled list.
With the move, the team optioned Brooks Pounders and to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Dunn went on the disabled list with a strained rhomboid in June 8, while Oberg was placed on the disabled list with a back strain on June 10.
Dunn had a 9.00 ERA in 23 appearances for the Rockies this season, while Oberg was 1-0 with a 4.08 ERA in 16 games.
Hoffman carried a 10.13 ERA in five appearances, and Pounders was 0-1 with a 7.63 ERA in 14 games.
