
It’s going to be to hot and sunny with temperatures in the upper 90s in the Denver metro area on Monday, forecasters say.
The high temperature will reach about 97 degrees on Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Wind gusts as high as 21 mph are possible.
Temperatures will rise above 90 for the rest of the week.
The highs will be around 97 on Tuesday and 95 on Wednesday. There’s a 10 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms Wednesday evening.

The chance for rain increases on Thursday, when the high temperature will reach 92 degrees.
The highs will be around 93 on Friday and 95 on Saturday. There is a chance for afternoon rains and thunderstorms both days.
It will get milder on Sunday, with a high temperature of around 86 degrees.
