The Colorado Avalanche on Monday signed one-year contracts with goaltender Spencer Martin and defensemen and Ryan Graves.
Martin, 23, started three games for the Avs during the 2016-17 season, posting a 0-2-1 record with a 4.35 goals-against average and a .865 save percentage. He went 14-15 with a 3.10 GAA and a .893 save percentage last year with the San Antonio Rampage, then Colorado’s AHL affiliate.
The 6-foot-4, 212-pound Geertsen, 23, played 72 games with the Rampage last year, tallying three goals and six assists.
Graves, 23, was acquired by the Avs from the for defenseman in February. In 21 games in San Antonio, the 6-4, 220-pound blueliner posted a goal and five assists.
