Colorado Springs police are investigating a possible child abuse case involving a 31-day-old infant who was taken to Memorial Central with a fractured femur, police report.
Hospital medical workers called police at around 11 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.
Authorities also called the El Paso County Department of Human Services, which is now doing its own investigation.
Detectives from the department’s Crimes Against Children are investigating the injury.
