A pedestrian in northwest Denver died Wednesday night when hit by a vehicle.
The fatal crash happened at about 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of West 17th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, police said. The driver remained on scene.
Federal was shut down in both directions by the incident. The name of the victim was not released.
An investigation is ongoing.
Officers are on-scene @ 17th & Federal, in regard to a fatal Auto/Pedestrian crash. Federal Blvd is currently closed for both directions in that area.
