The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has determined that the 30-year-old man who died after he was discovered shot next to a motorcycle in Colorado Springs on Tuesday was a homicide victim.
Terrell Cortez Madrid Duran was found conscious but in grave condition next to a motorcycle in the 1300 block of East Las Animas Street, according to Lt. Howard Black, spokesman for the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Police responded to the scene at 8:44 p.m. following a shots fired 911 call, Black said.
Duran was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, he said.
