Boulder police seek sex assault suspect who entered victim’s home

Investigators believe he entered the apartment through unlocked door

Boulder police have released a composite sketch of a man they are looking for in connection with a sexual assault that took place early Friday morning at an apartment near the University of Colorado campus.

Police said a woman living in the 1200 block of College Avenue woke up about 4:30 a.m. Friday to find a man in her bed trying to have sex with her. She managed to get him to leave, then contact police.

The suspect in the case is described as a light-skinned black male. Police said that at the time of the assault he was wearing a white T-shirt with an unknown logo and khaki pants. Investigators believe he entered the apartment through an unlocked door.
