Getting your player ready...

Take a look at all the damning statistics from the Broncos’ five-win season a year ago and this fact should stick out like a sore thumb: Denver finished 1-7 in road games.

The Broncos’ first road test of 2018 takes them out east and across two time zones to Baltimore against the Ravens.

“Itap a hard place to play,” Denver coach Vance Joseph said. “They have great crowd noise. Itap like playing at a college stadium. Itap going to be a tough out for our guys as far as traveling and playing our best game we can.”

The Broncos were road warriors for their previous two Super Bowl appearances, going 6-2 in 2013 and 2015 when playing away from Mile High. Much has been said about a “culture change” in Year 2 under Joseph’s watch. We’ll begin to learn if thatap really true Sunday at the Ravens.

“When you play on the road, you have to pack your defense. We’ve got to be ready to go and be ready to outplay their defense,” Broncos cornerback Chris Harris said. “Thatap how it is on the road. Defense, you’ve got to ball on the road. You always plan on the offense to struggle a little bit on the road, so we have to try and give them a little help. Hopefully get an early turnover and get (quarterback) Case (Keenum) going early.”
