An Aurora man was killed in a three-vehicle crash that for over four hours on Friday afternoon, the Colorado State Patrol said.
Emergency crews responded to the in Douglas County at 1:23 p.m., agency officials said in a news release.
The rear-end crash involved a white Audi Q5, a blue Toyota Highlander and a gray Chevrolet Equinox, the state patrol said. The Equinox driver, a 31-year-old Aurora man, died at the scene. The driver of the Highlander, a 58-year-old Castle Pines woman, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
