Broncos linebacker Joseph Jones came out roaring to play on Sunday.
Early in the first quarter, Baltimore’s Sam Koch’s punt attempt was blocked by Jones, setting up a short 6-yard touchdown run by Royce Freeman on the subsequent play.
The Broncos led 7-0 after Freeman’s TD.
LB gives the Broncos a block on special teams (punt) for the 2nd consecutive week, setting up a TD.
The Broncos now are tied for the NFL lead in blocked kicks since last year with five (3 FG, 1 punt, 1 PAT).
