A man found dead in the South Platte River Saturday does not appear to have died of a suspicious cause, Denver police said Sunday morning.
Police received a report of a body about 1:45 p.m. Saturday and investigated whether the death was suspicious, police spokesman Doug Schepman said Saturday.
The body was found in the river near Eighth Avenue and Zuni Street, he said.
Update: Regarding the man found deceased yesterday in the S. Platte River, the cause of death does not appear to be suspicious.
