Longmont police have arrested a suspect in a shooting that happened shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday in the area of 21st Avenue and Meadow Court.
Police found the suspect, which Times-Call photographs show appears to be a man, nearby at 19th Avenue and Meadow Court, according to a news release from Cmdr. Joel Post. His identity has not yet been released and it’s not yet known what charges he may face.
The victim, a man, was treated on scene and then taken to a local hospital.
Police have closed down 21st Avenue between Collyer Street and Estes Lane at this time as they investigate the shooting, Post said.
According to police, there is no known danger to the community at this time.
