Game of the week
Kansas City at New England
The no-doubt best game of Week 6, the undefeated Chiefs (5-0) against the looks-like-they’ve-got-things-figured out Patriots (3-2). It will be interesting to see how Bill Belichick schemes up quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Tom Brady wins his record 200th regular season game.
Patriots 38, Chiefs 31
Lock of the week
Atlanta at Tampa Bay
Atlanta is a 3 1/2-point favorite even though it is 1-4 and Tampa Bay is 2-3 and coming off its bye week. The Falcons are one loss from basically being eliminated from playoff contention. But they save their season because Matt Ryan will pass for 375 yards and four touchdowns.
Falcons 28, Buccaneers 20
Upset of the week
Jacksonville at Dallas
A three-point home underdog, the Cowboys (2-3) face a 3-2 Jaguars team who will be starting their third left tackle (Josh Walker) this season and are without two of their top three running backs (they signed veteran Jamaal Charles on Tuesday). DeMarcus Lawrence sacks Blake Bortles three times.
Cowboys 19, Jaguars 14
