With the temperature reaching 25 degrees at kickoff, Sunday was the second-coldest home game ever for the Broncos played before Nov. 1, and only the fourth to be played in sub-30-degree weather. The coldest NFL game to ever be played in Denver was in December 1972 when the temperature dropped to 9 degrees at kickoff between the Broncos and Chargers.
