A pair of homegrown sport stars had their basketball skills put to the test this weekend.
Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland, who went to Thomas Jefferson High School, and Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay, a product of Denver South, each attempted the Western Union First Shot at Saturday’s and Sunday’s Nuggets games, respective.
Freeland sank his shot with ease.
