One driver dies, one injured in two-vehicle crash in Aurora Friday night

A driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Aurora on Friday night, police said.

The crash happened at about 8:15 p.m. at South Havana Street and East Mexico Avenue, according to a news release.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital, where one was pronounced dead. The second driver’s injuries do not appear to be life threatening, police said.

No other people were in either of the vehicles. An investigation is ongoing.
