Game of the week
Green Bay at L.A. Rams
The Rams, 7-0 for the first time in 33 years, return home after a three-game road swing (Seattle, the Broncos and San Francisco). Jared Goff has been lights out at the Coliseum — four consecutive games with a passer rating of at least 100 and three with at least 350 yards. The Packers enter off their bye.
Rams 37, Packers 28
Lock of the week
Washington at N.Y. Giants
The Redskins (4-2) are a one-point favorite against the free-falling Giants (1-6), who traded cornerback Eli Apple to New Orleans and defensive lineman Damon Harrison to Detroit this past week. The Redskins offense did very little in a win over Dallas, but their defense will lead them past Big Blue.
Redskins 17, Giants 13
Upset of the week
Baltimore at Carolina
The Ravens are a two-point home favorite. Carolina running back Christian McCaffrey is averaging 4.8 yards per carry and he will be the key against the Ravens’ defense, which ranks first in fewest yards (280.6) and points (14.4) per game. McCaffrey will score two touchdowns.
Panthers 20, Ravens 14
