The Korean Zombie has a new opponent for the main event of UFC’s 25th anniversary card in Denver.
Chan Sung Jung will face Yair Rodriguez in a featherweight fight on Nov. 10 at Pepsi Center after Frankie Edgar withdrew due to injury.
Rodriguez (10-2) is entering his first fight since May 2017, a second-round technical knockout loss to Edgar at UFC 211. Prior to that, he had been on an eight-fight win streak.
“Thank you all for the well wishes and support, to say I’m disappointed would be an understatement,” Edgar tweeted on Saturday. “I train accordingly and was ready for a battle with KZ. Respect to Yair and Zombie that should be a fun scrap. See you all early next year!”
