11:50 a.m. — Thomas speaks with Houston media
Demaryius Thomas is all smiles as he meets with the Houston media for the first time.

Former Broncos/current Texans receiver met with the Houston media this morning. Some of his comments:
On facing the Broncos on Sunday: “Very strange. It was strange to get traded first off and then come here and get ready to play in the Mile High City you’ve been playing in the last eight-and-a-half, nine years is very strange.”
On joining an offense that includes quarterback Deshaun Watson and receiver : “I’m excited. They always say … I know those guys have been doing great since they’ve been together. I’m excited to be a piece and be a part of it.”
On getting to play with Watson: “Hopefully a lot of good football to come. I’m going to continue to be in the playbook and do my best to be ready for the game on Sunday.”
On the whirlwind of Tuesday: “I just took it like I was going to be a Denver Bronco and then I got a phone call. Once I got to work, I found out. I know itap a business.”
On joining a new team: “I think itap a great opportunity for me. I think change is going to be good here. I’m excited to get to work and see what I can do to help this squad out.”
Thomas said Watson was the first Texans player text he received and he also heard from cornerback/safety Kareem Jackson. Thomas said he texted Hopkins and a couple other of his new teammates.
